This is a unique opportunity to savor all FOUR of the special guest-teacher sessions and workshops with Marisa Wolfe, June 7, 8, and 9, 2019, over 12 hours of a unique yoga practice (and $83 savings in tuition investment!):
Honor your self and your practice in a whole new way by actively cultivating Metta/Lovingkindess into your yoga practice. Through discussion, meditation, asana, and deep relaxation we will explore ways to profoundly develop and embody gentleness, love, respect, and compassion on the mat. Let the bad thoughts go, breathe in the love… nurture your self, nurture your practice. Suitable for all levels of ability and experience.
This practice from Thailand integrates breathwork, deliberate movement and relaxation to direct awareness, stretch and massage the body. Some parts similar to “Indian” yoga and some completely unique, this is an invigorating yet relaxing practice suitable for all levels of ability and experience.
The wider practice of Thai Medicine has a rich history of herbal practice. Integrate this with Thai Yoga Massage and you have one of the most blissful experiences ever! This workshop includes and introduction to Thai Herbalism, including theories of using herbs to help balance the individual. We will also create and use our own Thai Herbal Steam Compresses during a basic Thai Yoga Massage session.
