June 9 (Sunday)
at 10:00 am

Class length
360 minutes

Location
305 East Duval Street, Lake City, FL 32055

The wider practice of Thai Medicine has a rich history of herbal practice. Integrate this with Thai Yoga Massage and you have one of the most blissful experiences ever! This workshop includes and introduction to Thai Herbalism, including theories of using herbs to help balance the individual.

You'll experience many simple ways to gently facilitate release and openness in the body, like this "Teapot" assisted post.

We will also create and use our own Thai Herbal Steam Compresses during a basic Thai Yoga Massage session.  Did you know that different tastes and smells can help bring balance to our lives? Thai Herbalism is based on this concept and bring a 5 sense experience to the table. Literally to the table - many of the herbs used even in Thai Herbal Compresses are also commonly found in your favorite foods. They may already be in your kitchen.

All supplies for the herbalism practicum will be provided; you do need your own yoga mat.

Note this schedule includes a long lunch break.

Enroll now to receive special Early Bird Tuition of $120, through May 31 (regular workshop tuition is $130).
