This specialty session is designed for those yearning to enrich practice by moving deeper within; for folks interested in meditation to nourish connection of body, breath, & thoughts, as well as accessing inner potentials. This full afternoon builds on the experience of “Bhuta Shuddhi,” a cleansing process by way of the chakras to better align with natural elements. Learn how to develop a deepening meditative experience, furthering reciprocity with the elements by way of gratitude, and cultivate harmony amongst physical, mental, & energetic layers of the Self.
The afternoon will include a gentle asana (yoga postural stretching), pranayama (breath work), presentation and contemplative discussion of yogic philosophy, as well as guided relaxation. Students will then settle into a seated meditation pose for a delightful guided meditation and visualization, “Meditation on the Cave of the Heart.” This refreshing journey inward is supported within a living tradition, seeped in awakened yogic wisdom. Return from practice knowing these nurturing methods have ignited inner potentials, an unfolding that will continue to expand.
