WELCOME! This is a SUPER inspiring group of Wednesday morning regular yoga enthusiasts of ALL LEVELS. We have absolute beginners, and folks who have been up to yoga a while. We cover basic yoga postures at a gentle pace, and we also emphasize breath work (this helps calm the nervous system and, in term, the muscles, and it is simply a LIFE-CHANGER toward more wellness). Everything is cued and demonstrated for you, and you are encouraged to go at your own pace. It is a very friendly, unintimidating group & environment, and blankets, blocks, handwieghts, & eyepillows are provided. (If you are not sure what those are--no worries!--you soon will; it is all in the service to making our yoga session more comfortable and RELAXING.
Please BRING A YOGA MAT.
Class is $12 per class, and is paid the day of class, by cash or check (to "Virginia Hill"). 30% will be returned to the church for the generous use of their space.
Please PARK IN the FRONT parking lot, the ones marked for handipcapped (no worries--that freaked me out, too, but the church requested it). If you need to pay by credit/debit card, please contact Virginia directly so she can send you an invoice.
