Self Myofascial Release or SMR is a self massage technique used to release the fascia, the connective tissue beneath the skin that supports, stabilizes and surrounds the bones, muscles and organs of the body. This technique is a great way to support everyday life, to promote healthy muscles, tissues and joints, and can also be used for muscle recovery and injury prevention. Combine this with intentional breath work, and restorative yoga postures and you will be floating on cloud 9.
