Vinyasa is a style of yoga that encourages you to elegantly move through asanas (postures) with the flow of breath; continuous movement synchronized with the inhale and exhale.
This series is designed for students with little to no yoga experience or those wanting to deepen their yoga practice by focusing on the fundamentals. Over this 4 week course we will explore several common yoga postures and breathing techniques as well as props and terminology. To spice things up, by week 4 we will be turning our focus towards linking our postures together in a vinyasa style flow.
During this 4 week session students will investigate:
-Common or fundamental yoga postures
-Basic alignment and body awareness
-Breathing techniques and how the breath can be linked to movement
-Yoga terminology and props
This is the perfect opportunity to cultivate a deeper understanding of yoga, and how it can fit into your life, within a small group setting.
