What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is a still-practice that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home via zoom. Also known as "yogic sleep," Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative meditation technique that takes you into a state of conscious relaxation. Through breathwork, visualization, and mindfulness, you’ll tap into a place of stillness, clarity, and peace. A form of meditation, Yoga Nidra uses breath awareness, body scan, guided visualization and other techniques to re-wire the entire nervous system.
Benefits of Yoga Nidra:
Release tension and stress
Reduce anxiety and PTSD symptoms
Improve sleep quality
Improve chronic pain symptoms
Enhance focus and creativity
Increased memory and concentration
Cultivate emotional balance
Restore energy and vitality
Yoga Nidra is a deeply healing form of rest: 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep.
Who is it for?
Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned yogi, Yoga Nidra is accessible to all. Simply lie down, close your eyes, and allow the soothing guidance to do the rest.
