Medical / Clinical Massage is a one hour session, HSA and FSA approved and may be eligible for reimbursement from your health insurance with a doctor's letter of medical necessity. This style of massage is not for relaxation. It is specific to your problem areas. A clinical therapist has a clinical mind and exceptional knowledge of anatomy and physiology, (often studying deeper into complex techniques. Your first session starts with an assessment. Hearing your problem and assessing range of motion. We then get to work on your treatment plan. We monitor your progress with each visit. We make a fantastic addition to physical therapy. 

Does it hurt? At times it may feel uncomfortable because there is an issue in the area. We check in consistently to make sure your not experiencing pain despite some discomfort. We are working to release tight muscles, Working out Adhesions (knots) and lengthening short muscles. Superficial massage just won't cut it, although we know it feels good. So we make sure to throw some of that in too! 😊 don't just feel good for 60 min, feel better
