Pre-Reqs: Must have passed through Canine Compass Skill Levels 1-3 and/or have equivalent obedience skills.
Age: 6 Months & Up
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep
“Study” to pass 10 everyday tests of your dog’s basic training, all without treats or other training aids. Earn your dog’s first AKC title!
Class 1 - Human greetings - CGC items 1, 2, 3 (and 9/10)
Class 2 - Walking on leash - CGC items 4, 5, 8 (and 9/10)
Class 3 - Sit/Down/Stay/Come and TESTING! - CGC items 6, 7 (and 9/10)
All classes will provide an opportunity to work on Separation and Distractions (CGC items 9 and 10). Testing will be available in Class 3.
