Class Description: Agility is fun, fast paced, and really appeals to our dog’s instinct to run and jump over and through things! However, there is one obstacle that is not an instinctual movement for our dogs- the weave poles. The weave poles are often the obstacle we see dogs struggle the most to learn and maintain. This workshop is designed to teach our dogs to LOVE the weave poles. We will focus on independence, both on entries and exits, and building distance so that our dog understands: “I drive through the very last pole EVERY time, no matter where my human is.
The teeter is hands down the scariest agility obstacle for our pups. It’s loud, it moves, and it can feel very unsafe to our pooches. This workshop will break down the teeter into bite size pieces and build confidence with each step.
This workshop is run like a group private session, so we will take many different approaches to help each dog progress. Whether you want to work on just the teeter, just the weaves, or both, we will adjust sessions to make sure that we can accomplish your goals!
