Class Description: Triebball (pronounced “try-ball”), also known as urban herding, was originally invented in Germany to entertain herding breeds that don’t have regular access to herding stock like sheep, goats, or ducks. Treibball is a problem-solving game that is a cross between billiards and soccer, requiring both distance skill and teamwork. This exciting new dog sport is a fun, safe, and challenging sport for all types of dogs, and is perfect for high-energy dogs or dogs that want a job, regardless of breed, age, or size. This class explores the basics of “ball driving” and you will build up the foundational skills: targeting, finding and building balance, impulse control, increasing distance, and ball driving. Whether pursuing treibball competitively or recreationally, this is a thinking game that increases the bond between you and your dog. Suburban and city dogs will love the physical and mental stimulation of tending to their inflatable ball flock!

Class Duration: 6 classes/1 hour each

CLEANING FEE & NOTE ABOUT POTTY TRAINING
Please note there is a $20 cleaning fee for dogs who pee and/or poop inside our Sports Annex. The annex is an all turf facility so clean-up from accidents requires our staff to stop class and use special cleaning implements to ensure no damage is done to the turf while still removing any urine/excrement and lingering odor. Please respect the training ring and potty your pooch before entering the training area.
