spots leftPlease note that this seminar includes both Working Dog spots, where the student brings their dog with them, and Humans Only spots in which only the human parent(s) are permitted. Only reserve a spot for this listing if you are going to bring your dog with you. Working Dog spots are limited to six students.
While the “grown-ups” are talking, the dogs will practice calm and quiet downtime. Bring a mat and some good chewing/licking activities for your pooch! (Crates can be made available upon request).
Working with Distractions: Let's talk about what makes some dogs so "distractible," and what you can do about it! We'll cover different types of distractions, as well as some other possibilities for why your young dog isn't listening. We'll discuss how to recognize a distraction in the moment, options to work through it, and how seasoned trainers decide when to call it a day.
