While the “grown-ups” are talking, the young dogs will practice calm and quiet downtime. Bring a mat and some good chewing/licking activities for your pooch! (Crates can be made available upon request). Or, if you’d prefer to come without your dog, that’s okay too.
Working with Distractions: Let's talk about what makes some dogs so "distractable" at this age, and what you can do about it! We'll cover different types of distractions, as well as some other possibilities for why your young dog isn't listening. We'll discuss how to recognize a distraction in the moment, options to work through it, and how seasoned trainers decide when to call it a day.
