Why does your dog jump up?
Does pushing them off stop the behavior or make it more of a game?
Can we help develop predictable patterns so our dogs understand the rules to make them successful?
Do we need them to sit? Or is it enough if they just keep four feet on the floor?
This workshop will help you build skills for appropriate greetings. We will go over how and when we can use management to help while building these skills. As well as why it's important not to let your dogs practice unwanted behaviors. And we’ll also cover tips to help you educate others on how to meet and greet your dog properly.
Please note this is NOT a workshop about teaching dogs how to politely greet other dogs. The focus is on teaching the dog proper ways to greet people and vice versa.
