Does your dog love to run, even if they aren’t super fast or as fast as they used to be? Do they especially love tunnels in agility? Speedway is a fun event held through CPE (Canine Performance Events) that has some similarities to agility but is lower impact and all based on SPEED! There are a few different events that consist of a combination of hoops, tunnels, and barrels and even a couple of team relay events! There’s no jumping, weaving or climbing obstacles so this is suitable for dogs of almost any age and activity level, especially our elder pups who are still spry but can no longer do higher impact activities. The courses are easy to handle and very beginner friendly. 

NOTE: You’ll get the most out of this workshop if your dog has the ability to go through a tunnel on cue, as two of the three events contain tunnels.

In this workshop we’ll be learning and playing Pitstop, Slingshot and Pole Position. 

Pitstop is a course of four to five tunnels. Slingshot is a combination of hoops and tunnels, and Pole Position is a race around five barrels.
