Maddy Magnuson
Maddy Magnuson (they/them) is a California-raised Maine transplant, with a lifelong love of sewing and quilting. Raised by their mom in Sacramento, Maddy crafted everything from Halloween costumes to prom dresses. After moving to Maine for college, they made their first hand-quilted masterpiece—a farm scene—for their boss. A sewing hiatus followed, but in 2022, Maddy rediscovered their quilting passion with an Intro to Quilting class, quickly cranking out 8 quilts using a secondhand machine. Now, they create colorful, one-of-a-kind quilts for loved ones. When not quilting, Maddy can be found chasing their toddler, gardening, hiking, or advocating for inclusive sex ed at Maine Family Planning. They live in Bath with their family and a menagerie of pets!
