🎨 Screen Printing Basics with Liz

Curious about screen printing but don’t know where to start? Come get inky with us. In this beginner-friendly workshop, Liz (artist, teacher, and owner of Electric Cottage Collective) will guide you through the basics of screen printing in a relaxed, creative, community-centered environment.

You’ll learn the foundational process of hand-pulled screen printing using Liz’s collection of pre-made designs and screens. We’ll cover setup, ink techniques, print placement, and how to pull your first prints ! (Creating and burning screens is its own whole magical process—and not part of this class at ECC.)

Expect music, laughter, colorful messes, and lots of encouragement. No perfectionism required. ✨

This class is for curious beginners, crafty weirdos, artists in a rut, and anyone craving a creative night out that feels more like play than school. Whether you leave with a masterpiece or just a newfound obsession with ink, you’ll leave having made something with your own two hands.

• 15+ if accompanied by their adult (with both participating in class)**

What to bring & wear:

• All materials provided, but you can bring fabric scraps or clothing, think: old t-shirts, pillow case, tote bag, hoodies

• Wear something you’t mind getting a little inky - this ink doesn't come out of clothing. If you don't have that, grab an apron?
