Restorative Yoga is meant to relax, relieve, and rejuvenate the body. Restorative postures are a little different than other styles of yoga, in that we're not searching for a sensation in the body, but rather releasing the use of muscles altogether to experience the sensation of being fully supported. This practice utilizes lots of props to support the body allowing the muscles to soften while calming our nervous system. A restorative practice encourages a new sense of bodily awareness and introspection. Join us!
