How can stillness, breath-work, and slow movement help deepen your writing practice? How can writing help connect you to your body and mind during these practices? In this class, we intersperse yin yoga poses with writing prompts to deepen both practices. We believe that the mix of these two activities - one focused on intellectualizing and making connections with our minds, and the other focused on gentle movement - can lead us in new directions and help us make connections we wouldn't have otherwise.
All yogis and writers are welcome here!
Modifications are always offered and we encourage your autonomy during this practice - everything is adjustable depending on how much or how little sensation one might be seeking.
Wear clothing that will allow for comfortable stretching and resting.
