Workshop - Lower Body Coordination for Latin Dances (Open Level)
with Caryl Cuizon

November 17 (Thursday)
at 9:00 pm

Class length
55 minutes

Location
Dance Annex - Studio 693 (693 Bloor Street West)

Prerequisite:  This is an open level class for beginner to advanced level dancers in Salsa On2, Bachata, or Cha Cha Cha (on 2).

Not sure how to coordinate stepping, knee/leg and hip movement (for salsa, bachata, chacha etc)?  Do you feel stiff or dance lock-legged (not bending your knees or dancing flat footed)?
If you are new to to Latin dances or haven't yet developed this skill, you're missing an essential component in dance!
Feel the fullness of rhythm when you use your whole body to maintain time, control your movements, create rhythm and express musicality.   Full body contra body starts at your feet.  If you lead or follow, this skill helps to build a connection that your partner can feel.

Develop your lower body coordination to clarify/simplify your leading/following effort and look natural doing it!
