Embodied Heart / Sensual Soul – A JourneyDance Experience

Description
This workshop is a guided JourneyDance experience that invites participants into deeper embodiment, sensual aliveness, and heart-centered connection.

We begin with a welcoming dance to arrive in the body and connect as a group, then move through a layered arc of experience:

• Embodiment Series – grounding into the body through breath awareness, fascia engagement, and somatic release techniques
• Sensual Series – fluid, expressive movement that awakens pleasure, creativity, and authentic self-expression within a rich and evocative musical landscape
• Heart Series – gentle practices of connection, including giving and receiving and optional heart-centered touch, supporting nourishment, trust, and community

Throughout the experience, participants will be guided through brief moments of reflective writing and/or intuitive art-making to deepen integration and give form to their inner experience.

We close with integration, allowing the experience to settle and land.

This workshop is both playful and deep, inviting participants to move beyond performance and into presence, sensation, and connection with self and others.

Bio
Antoinette (Toni) Black is an educator embodied movement facilitator, expressive arts practitioner, and pre-licensed clinical counselor. She is a certified JourneyDance facilitator and holds a Nia Black Belt, bringing a rich foundation of somatic awareness, movement artistry, and integrative healing into her work.

Toni creates spaces that are both grounding and transformative—where individuals are invited to explore sensation, emotion, and authentic expression through movement. Her work weaves together somatics, expressive arts, and archetypal insight to support deeper connection to the body, the heart, and inner wisdom.
