Your voice is already there. But are you giving it the space it needs to fully come through?
Join us for a weekend voice workshop led by Astrid Schmidt — voice coach, speech therapist, diploma singing pedagogue, and composer — for a living exploration of breath, body, and voice.
Working with the natural connection between an awake body, free breath, and a present voice, this workshop invites you to discover more courage, strength, and ease in your own sound. No performance, no pressure, no judgement — just curiosity and joy.
No prior experience needed. Whether you're a complete beginner, a choir singer, or simply curious about your voice, you are warmly welcome.
What to expect: connecting breath, body, and voice; singing and sound free from performance pressure; and rediscovering — or discovering for the first time — what your voice can do.
Programme:
- Friday 27 Nov, 18:00–21:00
- Saturday 28 Nov, 10:00–18:00
- Sunday 29 Nov, 10:00–15:00
Astrid Schmidt has spent her career captivated by the uniqueness and expressive power of the human voice. She works with people who want to explore and develop their voice, with a focus on breath, expression, body awareness, and the natural strength and lightness that every voice holds.
