Maine Craft Weekend: Electric Cottage Collective & Fish Ladder Arts. Linoleum Print & Book Binding
Join Liz and Sam for a workshop where we’ll explore linoleum block printing AND the art of making a journal from start to finish. Together, we’ll carve and print a simple linoleum block design to create a one-of-a-kind cover, then learn a beginner-friendly bookbinding technique to assemble our own journals. Once your journal is complete, you’ll have the option to begin filling it with creative prompts designed to spark reflection and inspiration.
This is an invitation to slow down, make something by hand, and celebrate the joy of creative expression. We believe art should be accessible, joyful, a little weird, and made by everyone.

- Bring an idea of an image you’d like to create for your cover or use one of our premade linoleum blocks
- At ECC, we love working with low/no-cost, recycled, and rescued materials whenever possible and creating playful art.
