Introduction to Boxing Fundamentals (non contact - for beginners only)

This is where it all begins!  You will be introduced to the fundamentals of boxing.  From the boxer's stance through to a basic understanding of range, punches, defences and footwork.   The warm up will teach you how to do the "boxing skipping" which is a learned skill that teaches your feet to be nimble and this type of skipping helps you to learn about the conservation of energy.  You will attend this class as long as you need and then will incorporate and transfer your learnings to all of your other classes.  You are welcome to attend other classes during the week while you are mastering these fundamentals.
