Alex McCown, Certified Yoga Instructor, RYT 200, When Alex started practicing yoga she found she was able to live with more consciousness and gratitude. Free of competition (after being immersed in sports), the physical practice of yoga allowed Alex to leave ego behind and be compassionate with her body and mind. Alex brings fun, exploratory movement practices to her classes, helping others to settle down and sync up with their natural nourishing rhythms. When she is not at the yoga studio, you can find her working at the New England Animal Farm Sanctuary or playing outside with her dog.
