Take a journey into deep relaxation through gentle asana, guided meditation and healing singing bowl sounds with Aubrey. In this Restorative and Savasana style class you will be guided to release tension with gentle poses to prepare your body for restful stillness. Then you are invited to make yourself as comfortable as possible so you may sink into deep relaxation. Feel free to use the studio’s ample props or bring your comfiest blanket and pillow. You will be gently guided to relax your body further and invited on a journey into blissful imagery and positive affirmations to help induce a peaceful state of being. The use of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, tongue drums tuned to Earth’s frequency, and other therapeutic instruments will be used to enhance your meditation experience. Each week features a unique meditative journey and harmonious accompaniment. Consistent meditation practice is known to reduce stress and anxiety, enhance emotional wellbeing, increase self-awareness, promote improved physical health, as well as help amplify attention, focus and quality sleep. Classes last 90 minutes and include a few longer held tension-releasing poses (Asana), light breath work (Pranayama), soothing guided meditation with healing instrumental accompaniment, and a closing reflection period to help you integrate your experience and drive home safely.
