Hello, my name is Mary Roth. I have been practicing yoga and dance since 2005. In 2016 I received my 200 hour YTT in India in hatha yoga. I learned how to twerk several years ago and how to teach it in 2024. I enjoy teaching a class that combines both yoga and dance. My classes are designed for women who are looking for a balanced class that will regulate their nervous system. I enjoy learning about how women connect in other cultures and it is often done in a circle and involves the hips. In my class, you will be guided in a practice where you will feel more connected to your body. Dancing, especially from the hips and sacral area, releases stuck emotions and trauma. You will be provided with a space to feel what needs to be felt and experience alchemy, so you can shift what no longer serves you into something useful. I am currently offering a 1 hour class including some cardio, dance, twerking, and yoga. I will also read a personal poem in each class as a bonus :)
