This 90 minute class begins with 15 to 20 minutes of gentle movement, followed by several supported restorative postures where props (blankets, bolsters, yoga blocks) are used to help participants find complete relaxation. This allows the brain to receive the message to let go of tension/tightness and help slow down the “monkey mind”. During these supported poses, energy work (Reiki and light touch massage) is given to each participant to increase the opportunity to release muscle tightness and find deep relaxation for both the body and mind. You will leave with a feeling of renewed energy and lightness.
All participants are welcome to bring their own mat and props if they choose, however we can provide all of the needed materials as well.
