This gentle class uses both the yoga mat and a chair to practice postures and breathing exercises. Students can experience the many benefits of a physical yoga practice without having to get up and down from the floor. Benefits include increased balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, and stress reduction.  Using the shape and intention of traditional poses, we will provide modifcations to allow students to participate in the pose without the need to stand for extended periods of time or get up and down from the floor.  For some poses, modifications may be available to use the wall rather than a chair as appropriate. This class is suitable for students in a wheelchair also. All chairs and props are provided in-studio.
