You'll need a quiet space, a mat or carpeted floor, pillow, blanket, journal, pen, and device to view from. Retreat will be conducted by Cheryl Weise, RYT 500 and sponsored by Sophie Wagner.

During the Yoga Retreat students will: 
  • Practice specific yoga postures for strength, endurance, flexibility, increased range of motion, and injury prevention.
  • Practice specific breathing techniques to learn how to harness the breath and direct their focus and energy into the present moment. This allows students to work into their true potential and move beyond previous limitations physically and mentally.
  • Practice meditation seated with breathing techniques and lying down and relaxing the entire body and mind.

    The benefits experienced range from increased muscle mass and flexibility, to improved breathing and posture, increased coordination and balance, all the way to feeling more confident, grounded, and clear minded, while experiencing better sleep and less anxiety. This allows all students to approach life with more ease, mindfulness, and focus.
