REGISTER for our NEW 40HR Aerial YTT. This unique style of practice can bring balance to your personal practice, offer your current students a new experience, and just be a lot of fun! This program has
40HRS of YACEP Credits - applicable to Yoga Alliance Registered Teachers.
In this training you will learn:
- Basic anatomy and applied anatomy specific to aerial yoga
- Standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists, inversions and breathwork all within the aerial yoga scope.
- To build trust for yourself with the silk and to build trust with your students.
- To assist and spot students within a class setting.
- Safely guide students in and out of aerial postures
- Creative Sequencing and class planning.
- Safe silk rigging techniques.
- Teaching techniques and how to manage a class.
- Basic Restorative and Yin postures within the silk.
Who should take this training? This training is suitable for instructors of yoga, Pilates, dance, fitness, etc. as well as students who love aerial! While you do not have to be certified in any of the noted movement modalities to take this training, know that most studios will require the fundamentals of such trainings, along with aerial training, to acquire a teaching position.

*Students must be present for all training dates/times to receive the certification. Any missed time will be at the cost of the student at $160/hr for the teacher’s time and rental of aerial space. All in-studio time will be located at Abstract Dance Academy.
