This unique yoga class offers both Vinyasa and Restorative elements. The class will begin with a slow & intentional all-levels flow, connecting breath with movement, allowing the body and muscles to warm and loosen up. The final portion of class will move to the ground and shift to a restorative format that provides the opportunity for students to sink into deep release with each pose held for 2-4 minutes and supported by props. These postures help to soften and stretch the muscles and rehydrate the connective tissues, resulting in increased mobility and allowing the mind to relax and unwind. Props may include blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps and occasionally a chair or a wall. All levels welcome.
