Mysore-style classes are suitable for beginners as well as students who have taken guided Ashtanga classes, or other types of Yoga classes before. This is the most beautiful way to practise Ashtanga yoga as it becomes a flowing, deeply meditative experience. Each person in the room moves through the Ashtanga sequence at their own pace, to their own level, in a way that suits their body and stage of life. As the weeks go by, you will gradually memorise the first part of the Ashtanga sequence, synchronising breath and movement, helping you to develop your own self-practice. The teacher will guide you – sometimes verbally and sometimes by giving tactile adjustments or suggesting alternative versions of a pose – and over time will encourage you to become increasingly independent in your practice. Come anytime after the start time to finish your practice within the 2 hour window.
Sorry - that class has already taken place!
