The path to inner peace often feels elusive, leaving us longing for guidance.

That's where this sweet class of Pranayama (yogic breathing), Yoga Nidra (guided yogic sleep) and journalling comes in.

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating practice. It involves a guided meditation that takes you to a state of conscious sleep, where you can tap into the power of your subconscious mind. This magical practice allows you to connect your subconscious mind with the wisdom of your conscious self, leading to a profound sense of harmony and oneness.

At the heart of Yoga Nidra, a wondrous thread weaves through the fabric of the practice, known as a sankalpa. A sankalpa is a heartfelt intention or resolution that resonates with your deepest aspirations and desires. During the practice, as you enter the realm of conscious sleep, this powerful thread of sankalpa is planted.

The sankalpa holds immense importance as it acts as a guiding light, shaping your thoughts and actions in alignment with your deepest aspirations. It serves as a compass, leading you towards the fulfillment of your dreams and the realization of your true nature. Through the weaving of sankalpa in Yoga Nidra, you embark on a transformative journey where the power of intention merges effortlessly with the profound state of consciousness, amplifying its impact and manifesting its magic in your life.

To start the class Mel will guide you through some gentle pranayama to help balance both hemispheres of your brain and ground you into the moment. You will be given 5 journalling prompts to help you find your own sankalpa with lots of space to explore these before being guided through your yoga Nidra practice.

This practice will be deeply nurturing and you will walk out feeling like you have given yourself the most beautiful gift of insight.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, this class is open to all levels.
