Gentle Flow, Yin & Meditation for Pregnancy

During pregnancy, yoga can play a key role in enhancing the experience of this precious time and allowing you to connect with your body & baby on a deeper level.
This class is designed to help you enjoy your pregnancy with less physical, mental & emotional discomfort as we move mindfully through postures that safely open the body creating space for your ever growing bump.
You will learn correct techniques to strengthen and relax your pelvic floor muscles and we will practice gentle balancing pranayama & cultivate breath awareness to strengthen the mind body connection, all in preparation for labor.
Prenatal Yoga also offers you the opportunity to connect with a like minded community of women.
Join Mel as she leads you through 75 minutes of seated & gentle standing flow postures, then sliding into some yummy yin postures to open the flow of energy throughout all your 5 bodies, moving into a meditation to connect you to bub, and of course a lovely savasana with a head massage to allow for that all important relaxation time.
This class is for second & third trimester mums. If you are in your first trimester and would like to join we will require a doctors certificate clearing you to practice.
