This class will introduce and hone lyra (aerial hoop) vocabulary such as swings, rolls, hangs and balances through more simple to complex transitions and sequences. A secondary focus of this class will be exercising endurance, creativity and exploration within familiar vocabulary and understanding aerial theory. Modifications for body types, abilities and goals are accommodated - let the instructor know.

Prerequisites:
It is strongly recommended that students have some previous aerial experience and are comfortable hanging from hands and knees and spending some time inverted. Beginner aerial silks and/or previous experience with gymnastics, dance, yoga/aerial yoga, martial arts and cross-fit are some examples of transferable movement practices. Unsure?
