Social Circus for Youth

Our Social Circus program is a free circus arts program for underserved youth, designed to create a welcoming space where young people can build confidence, creativity, friendships, and new skills.

Participants get the chance to explore a wide range of circus arts, including aerial skills, juggling, acrobatics, balance, object manipulation, performance, and more. Classes are supportive and flexible, allowing youth to learn at their own pace, discover the circus skills they enjoy, work toward personal goals, and take part in creative projects and performances.

The program is about much more than learning circus. Through regular classes, participants build confidence, perseverance, teamwork, self-expression, and a sense of belonging within the circus community.

The program is free for participants, and rides to and from the program are available when needed.

Participants must be referred by Peterborough Youth Services or another community organization that works with youth.
