Mixed Level Aerial Hoop (Lyra) Teen/Adult May/June (3/5)
with Mac

June 12 (Wednesday)
at 5:00 pm

Class length
90 minutes

Location
Aerial Room

This class will introduce and hone lyra (aerial hoop) vocabulary such as swings, rolls, hangs and balances through more simple to complex transitions and sequences. A secondary focus of this class will be exercising endurance, creativity and exploration within familiar vocabulary and understanding aerial theory. Modifications for body types, abilities and goals are accommodated - let the instructor know.

Prerequisites:
It is strongly recommended that students have some previous aerial experience and are comfortable hanging from hands and knees and spending some time inverted. Beginner aerial silks and/or previous experience with gymnastics, dance, yoga/aerial yoga, martial arts and cross-fit are some examples of transferable movement practices. Unsure? Email the studio for clarification.
