Redwood Bowmen Club Shoot

This is a "field trip" to the Redwood Bowmen Club in Oakland - you need your own equipment for this. We will shoot 28 targets at distances from 10 to 30 yards on this beautiful outdoor range. Nico and other Ohlone Archery Certified Instructors will be your guides through the field archery course! If you have not been there, get directions for the Chabot Space & Science Center on Skyline Blvd - the parking structure is shared by both. Arrive by 8:30, plan on being there until 12 or 1. Cost is $10.00 to the Redwood Bowmen Club when you arrive. Think of this like a 3 hour outdoor hiking experience; you'll be near poison oak, bring bug spray and sunscreen if you are so inclined. Come dressed in layers and wear hiking shoes, you never know what the weather will be like. It's a good idea to pack snacks and bottled water. Rain will cancel.
