The Traditional Field Round is a  version of the standard NFAA Field Round done on the 2nd Sunday of the month at all NFAA outdoor clubs across the nation.

Our version of it is limited to distances of 30 yards and under; perfect for the archer new to outdoor field archery, archers with relatively low draw weight bows, and archers who want to enjoy an outdoor field course without being mixed with experienced archers shooting the longer distances (40 to 80 yards). This is also a great opportunity to experience the range and consider membership.

To participate in this round, you must own your own equipment (at least 20 LBS draw weight) and be able to at least hit the target at 20 yards. No formal  lessons or instruction will be provided at this event - this is more of a "meet up" and guided tour for outdoor first timers. You must bring at least $5.00 in cash for the Redwood Bowmen donation receptacle (more is highly recommended).

Scores for this will be posted and tracked on the Ohlone Archery Leader Board for those who wish to track their progress and casually compete.

We will formally do this on the 3rd Sunday of the month (to capitalize on the fresh targets put up for the Club Shoot) during the summer months. You can post your score on the Leader Board from any time you visit the range on your own outside of the formal meet ups.
