Nest Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a guided relaxation and meditation technique to awaken the connection between body, mind, and soul. The hour will be deeply restoring and relaxing. The practice uses a systematic guided meditation approach to allow a gentle softening of physical, mental and emotional tension. The body remains as still as possible while the mind remains active allowing the students to hover between sleep and wakefulness. This guided meditation class is practiced while resting on a yoga mat snuggled in with blankets, bolsters, pillows & a heated eye pillow is also offered to encourage an even deeper relaxation response for the body. We want you to be as comfortable as possible in your very own Nidra Nest. There are only 4 Nest spots available for each class.
First time to the class? Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, connect and set up for your meditation. Nest yoga Nidra is a 60-min class consisting of 5 mins of settling into nests, 35-45 mins of guided meditation, 5-10 mins of awakening.
Who's this for? Nest Yoga Nidra is recommended for anyone who needs to deeply relax on a mental, emotional and or physical level. Stress, tension, anxiety and sleep related issues can leave us feeling unbalanced & exhausted. Take some time to rebalance and recharge. Come rest with us at Blue Moon Yoga & Wellness Studio.
