Course Description...
Receive a solid grounding in meditation, pranayama (breathing), yoga philosophy and physical alignment in the foundation postures of a hatha yoga practice. This course unfolds at a relaxed pace with the total newbie to yoga in mind. Each week includes an alignment lab (mini-workshop) on one of the key foundational poses of a Hatha Yoga practice. You will learn and apply the basic principals of forward folding, balancing, back bending, twisting and transitioning safely between poses. Over the 6 week series we weave the poses together into gentle flowing sequences.
