Vinyasa slow flow classes are for moving, breathing, and being with yourself in a way that is slow, steady, kind, and real. Vinyasa means to place together in a special way, and in modern yoga this mean a flowing sequence of postures that typically move from lying down, to seated, to kneeling, standing, maybe a play with something upside down (we don't expect our students to be able to pop up into a headstand or handstand, but we do sometimes get creative with the foundations for such things), then a nice, gentle wind down into savasana (resting reclined pose)....
