Danni Mize was inspired to get trained as a Yoga Warrior instructor because of her experience of with her first-responder fire fighter husband.  Danni learned that veterans, first responders, as well as their families, and really anyone dealing with PTS and trauma could benefit greatly from practicing yoga in the specific yoga program created by Yoga Warriors. Yoga Warriors is designed specifically to assist students in coping with Post Traumatic Stress as well as the daily and specific stresses that first responders and military are exposed to. The classes are also open to those from other high stress environments in addition to the caregivers and family members of those affected. Yoga’s physical postures promote healthy, flexible bodies and often provide relief from pain. The class is so gentle that veterans, many of whom have other health conditions or serious physical limitations, find the postures comfortable and easy to do.
