Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness, introspection and patience. Its long held poses,( 3-5 minutes) target deep into the connective tissues of the body, mainly the Fascial, unlocking long held tensions and emotions and clearing blockages to leave you body feeling refreshed and like having just had a deep massage.

This is a potent and powerful class ~ perfect for those who those who are highly active, for those who suffer from chronic illness, anxiety or depression & for those who simply just need to sit in more stillness.. A great class for athletic recovery, to ease tire and aching muscles and bodies and to release years of chronic tension held in fascia from old injuries, traumas or just day to day getting older.

This practice is not suitable for those who have acute injuries. If you're pregnant, please let me now before class. During pregnancy there are specific hormones which relax your muscles and make you more flexible so during this class, you need to be aware not to go to more than 50% of your ability.
