Learn veneering from start to finish while creating a 22" x 30" veneer piece suitable for a table top or anything you can imagine. You will learn to sharpen and tune your veneer saw, veneer selection and layout, backer, banding, and borders. You will use the shop vacuum press to complete your piece. This class does not include legs or other project pieces. Veneer and consumables included in the price of the class.
Taught by Pete Schlebecker. A professional woodworker with 35 years of teaching experience, Pete was the staff instructor at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine for 7 years, and Veneer work is his specialty. - Coffee mug and saucer for veneer tape
- Optional if you already have one: magnifying glass for saw sharpening
