Self Myofascial Release or SMR is a self massage technique used to release the fascia, the connective tissue beneath the skin that supports, stabilizes and surrounds the bones, muscles and organs of the body.
In this workshop, we will explore the different uses and potential outcomes of SMR as well as learn a variety of self myofascial release techniques. A few benefits of SMR include:
Participants are asked to bring a foam roller if they have one. A limited amount of studio rollers will be available to use during the class, or you may purchase a foam roller with registration. Class size will be limited to 10 so register today!
