While technically a form of meditation, most people think of Yoga Nidra as deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra uses breath awareness, body scan, guided visualization and other techniques to re-wire the entire nervous system by teaching you how to do nothing. It is deeply healing.
Yoga Nidra involves lying down in stillness. It is important to be comfortable, so please gather your supplies before class time. You may want to have a small pillow for under your head, a small blanket to keep you warm, or a cover for your eyes.
