This class offers a sequence of poses that focus on connecting movement to breath. This practice cultivates mindfulness and non-judgmental awareness of body alignment, sensations, and energy flow. Movement (through asanas) and rest (through guided meditation in savasana) are both incorporated to encourage centering in the physical body through attentiveness to the breath to quiet the mind. Some previous yoga experience is helpful, but not required.
