The foundation of vinyasa is linking breath to movement. In this invigorating class, you will create heat and energy in the body as you flow through a sequence of postures, with an emphasis on functional anatomy and good alignment. In addition to physical postures that build balance, strength, and flexibility, this class integrates pranayama breathwork and meditation to instill a sense of calm and relaxation. The savasana pose at the end of practice provides an opportunity to integrate these mind-body benefits. Whether you are new to yoga or a regular practitioner, this class is for you and will include modifications to poses so that you may practice at your own comfort level.
